ERYRI’S WOMEN ON COURSE FOR THE IMPROVERS TROPHY

Eryri’s women ensured that they have the Borders Road Running League “Improvers Trophy” well within their grasp following the penultimate race of the 2017/18 season at Mold on Sunday 8th April. Eryri’s women finished 4th team on the day of the 10 teams competing in the 2nd Division and are 4th in the overall standings.

Disappointingly, only two Eryri men turned out for the club with Arwel Lewis completing his 125th Border League race (out of 134 races that Eryri have competed in) finishing 105th overall in a time of 32:44 with Ashley Wager completing his 61st Border League race, finishing 143rd overall in a time of 34:52. Not surprisingly, Eryri’s men finished bottom of the pile on the day and are placed 9th overall in their respective 2nd Division.
