Another Eryri 1-2-3 with Rob Samuel a winner in the event yet once again for the 6th time as he reversed last year’s placings when he was gradually making his recovery from a serious injury when he finished 3rd behind race winner Matt Roberts with Russell Bentley 2nd, Russell finished 2nd once again in a time of 32:26 with Matt having to settle for 3rd in 33:05 as Rob won in a time of 32:15 which compares very well with his other Felin race winning times of: 32:07, 32:35, 31:36, 31:27 (Course Record) and 31:55. In total, there were 30 Eryri Harriers competing on what turned out to be a dry evening following the early morning torrential rain which made the underfoot conditions quite slippery in some places. Bike Style Tops

It has been suggested that we should make available to purchase some bike style tops. You know the ones with the short zip, pockets at the back and sleeves. A lot of runners also bike so we thought it was a good opportunity to have some more Eryri kit! On a practical level it has been suggested that the pockets are ideal for kit when running (saves using a bumbag) and also ideal for those autumn day runs when a vest is a bit skimpy but any more clothing and you’ll boil!

Please could you let a member of the committee know if you might be interested in one (I have already told myself!) and we’ll crack on getting some ordered. Designs/styles are being looked into at the moment so let us know and we’ll get them sorted.
