Despite having at least 3 other events clashing last Sunday, we had a good turn-out at the Fabian4 Dyffryn Conwy Mountain Challenge, with many Eryri members – old & new – taking part.  For once, the weather was good, so the river wasn’t too choppy, the views from the high point on the run leg were amazing, & the dry bits of the Marin Trail we used made it a fast, exciting mountain bike leg. Competitors & marshals all had an enjoyable day, & hopefully, we will have made a goodly sum for the Snowdonia Society. There were some notable Eryri Harriers performances:

• Lou Beetlestone won the Ladies Individual Triathlon
• James Harwood was 3^rd in the Mens Duathlon
• Jenny Williamson 3^rd in the Ladies Duathlon
• 2^nd team’s runner was Tim Watson
• 3^rd team’s runner was Paul Hodges
• Yours truly was the mountain biker for the 4^th team, whose runner, Sion Harlow clocked the fastest time of the day on leg 2
• Sarah Barnwell was the mountain biker for the 5^th team, & was an amazing 4^th overall on leg 3
• Ben Beachell won 1^st local
• Clive Hartfall was 1^st in the Grand Masters
