Firstly a big thanks to all those who turned out on the day to help. Not just Eryri but Cybi, Menai, Travis Perkins, mums dads and friends who all helped save the day. It was a shame to see less than 50 enter the full race but with other races clashing…

A fine win for past winner Mercia’s V40 Pete Vale ahead of Meirionnydd’s David Palmer, while 1st Eryri was also a multi past winner and 1st lady, also F40, Andrea Rowlands, 5th overall in 4.08.47.

It seems that all the achievements were being put in by the vets because Stell Farrar competing in her 22nd Peris took the F50 win in 5.30.48 and 1st ever M70 competitor Brian Robbins finished in 5.55.40, da iawn Brian, 3 months after being the 1st M70 in the Welsh 1000 mtr, thanks again folks.

The Half Peris turned out to be a ding dong battle between Hugh O’Donnell and the Doc, the former getting the better going through the kissing gate and winning by 3 seconds in the 2nd fastest recorded time of 1.50.29., Ali T winning the ladies in 2.23.13 from Megan 2.25.32 with Denbigh’s Emma Collins taking 3rd and the 1st F50 rec in 2.29.30.
