Preseli Beast and Race to the Tower
A bit delayed but a few fantastic performances to report on from Alwyn Oliver, Maggie Oliver and Judith Leslie!
On 12th May, Alwyn tackled the Preseli Beast in North Pembrokeshire in 6h1m32s – amazing going considering the Beast is 24 off-road miles, with approx 4,700 ft. (1420 m) of assent. He was the only V70 – fantastic running Alwyn!
In another beast of an event on 9/10th June, Judith Leslie and Maggie Oliver conquered the Race to the Tower event in the Cotswolds, a double/ultramarathon event, also raising over £600 (so far) for St David’s Hospice! Here is the JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/
