Ras y Tren – results including juniors

Categories: Juniors News,Road News

Thanks to all the helpers last night especially Paul Carter who had to run the race (19 minutes), and then type in all the entries and feed all the numbers and times in ready for prize giving.

Well done Rob Samuel, his third victory, while Llanrug’s Kathryn Gray recorded her first.

Heatwave conditions ensured no records were broken, unless you count 15 gallons of water drunk, while 144 runners beat the train’s time of 23.33. The Coffi Roc case of beer went to Travis Trotters 80.54, ahead of Betsi Runaways 82.46.

That’s the last time I set the girls off after the boys ! Despite coming in 1st  and 2nd Eden and Jack suddenly found themselves relegated to 4th and 5th by the three girls who had started off 15 seconds behind them. Thanks to Chelsea and Neil from Tesco for attending and starting the race and for also funding the goody bags.
The North Wales Junior Fell Championships take place on the Orme 20th September, make a note in your parents diary kids, entry forms will be on our website from mid August.  Mike

Hi, I have downloaded the results, but the sheet is blank. Any ideas?

Absolutely fantastic event. Be such a shame for this local historic event not to be included in Run Britain, as the race itself and “kids” deserve the recognition in terms of participation, development and to help their handicap and personal rankings. Kind regards…:-)

Results seem to be opening ok, can’t help I’m afraid. Regarding passing results to whoever, someone feel free. I doubt Mike will be doing it.
