Ras Foel Fras - Call out for Marshals

As a club we encourage members to take part in club activities in many different ways - volunteering at races is a major part of this. It's a great way to help out, socialise, make friends, support and be part of the race day fun (without running!)

Volunteers for Foel Fras will be rewarded with cake at race HQ, Caffi Hen Felin, Abergwyngregyn

Sunday 14th June 12noon start (runners will take approximately 1hr30-3hr15)

We are looking for 2 marshals per checkpoint and a few marshals within the first and final km. Help on start/finish is also needed

The race is 12miles/19km and has 4 summit.

Checkpoints: 

• Start/Finish Abergwyngregyn (Race HQ is Caffi Hen Felin) - start 12noon, finish (1.30-3.30) - 2 marshalls to help on start/finish line

  
  

• Check Point 1: Drum (770m) - 1 marshal needed (runners due 12.30-1.30)

  
  

• Check Point 2: Foel Fras (942m) - Marshalls arranged

  
  

• Check Point 3: Yr Aryg (860m)-  Marshalls arranged

  
  

• Check Point 4: Moel Wnion (580m) - 2 marshals needed (runners due 13.15-15.00)

  
  

• From Moel Wnion descend back to finish outside Caffi Hen Felin in Abergwyngregyn - 2 marshalls on the descent above Abergwyngregyn
