AS PER LAST YEAR, RACE HQ WILL BE AT PENMAENMAWR PHOENIX FOOTBALL CLUB LL34 6PR. There is ample parking at the venue.

Race details
9 mile/2,800ft course visiting the summits of Tal y Fan & Moel Lus, with 5 CPs,  all of which must be visited in order.
This year, the race is the 6th counter in the WFRA’s N Wales Series
Please arrive at HQ in time to register and pick up your race bag. Registration will take place between 11:00 – 12:30pm for a 1 o’clock start.  There is a half mile walk to the start – please allow 20 mins.
Entry limit 100 - online entry (preferred) at Fabian 4 @ £6 for WFRA members (£2 supplement for non-members) which includes RaceTek electronic timing, a race map (non-waterproof) & refreshments,  including soup/roll at HQ after the race. There will be a few EOD places available, at the increased fee of £9.
Minimum age is 18yo on race day. (Experienced 16 year olds may be considered eligible to run based on discussion with Neal Hockley)
There will be a cut-off at CP2 – time yet to be decided.
The race isn’t for consideration as a fun-run – mountain experience/navigation skills are required. I hope to be able to lead at least one recce of the route before race day in order to boost the confidence of wavering first-timers!
Safety pins will not be provided.

There will be a presentation with the usual age category prizes, all sourced locally, & for the first M/F local runners.
Any profit will be donated to local charities, with a small sum being given to the football club, which has very kindly agreed to loan us their excellent facilities free of charge.
The football club has a public bar which will be serving drinks all day – inside & outside – and we’d love it to have some custom.
