Borders road running league – MOLD 5 MILES
On a wet, but windless morning, 10 Eryri Harriers completed the undulating 5-mile race route. Nic Brook led Eryri home in 26th Position overall in a Strava time of 28:44, closely followed by: 26th Ian Edwards 28:57. 62nd Gemma Moore 31:28, 104th and on his Eryri, plus Border League debut, Samuel Drinkwater ahead of his other half, 105th Anna Drinkwater. 137th Arwel Lewis 35:43. 149th Dilwyn Rowlands 36:21. 15 4th Mike Snell 36:47. 202nd Nia Meleri-Edwards and the evergreen Don Williams 242nd. The event was the second counter in the club’s Road Running Championships to be quickly followed by a Borders league double header at Delamere next Sunday 23rd April with an earlier start time of 10:00am.
Newport Marathon
Sunday was a busy day of racing all round for Eryri Harriers on the roads. In the Newport Marathon John Davies on his Marathon debut finished in 2:53:55 and Math Llwyd 3:35:12.
Manchester Marathon
In the Manchester Marathon, Gavin Rogerson ran 3:16:18 and Levente Incze 4:03:54.
Rhyl 10k
In the Rhyl 10k, John Jones finished 51st overall and 4th M/60 in a time of 43:55. There were 282 finishers.
