Race The Train
Every year we host 'Race the Highland Train' a 5km race from Dinas station to Caernarfon station.

Train leaves the Dinas station at 8pm (and so do the racers)
*option to take the train from Caernarfon to Dinas at 7:30pm

This iconic 1 way 5K challenge is one of the most popular races in the North Wales racing calendar for many, many years.
A fast and furious run on the Lon Eifion Cycle trac from Dinas Station to Caernarfon Station.
Most start by taking the train from Caernarfon to Dinas at 7:30pm and then race it back when the train (and starting gun) sets off from Dinas at 8pm

Under 12s do not miss out on the fun!
Children can run a 1 mile race on the same course from Hendy Crossing starting at 7pm
Their bus leaves Caernarfon leaves Caernarfon to the start line at 6:30pm
£2 Entry Fee - this includes a goody bag and lots of fun!
*Limit of 40 runners
