Welsh Castles Relay

Eryri Harriers are putting together a relay team

for the legendary Welsh Castle Relay on the weekend of 6th and 7th of June

This year we're hoping to make this an "away weekend" as a team*.

We are gathering interest before we submit our application** so want to know if there is enough interest from you as members.

The weekend will consist of:

FREE experience / race for our members! The club will cover your entry fee travel cost for volunteers
Mini Bus from leg to leg to follow runners along the courses
Shuttle to / from starting / end point of each leg
Free camping in Newtown at end of day 1 possible
Bus back up North at the end of day 2
An amazing weekend full of team spirit and fun

We're looking for:

Volunteers to be on organising team / sub-committee (sort out logistics and arrange the weekend for the team. You will have support from main Committee)
Runners*** for each leg (20 legs over 2 days)
2 reserve runners in case of last minute injury / other issues
Volunteer marshals - marshal at point on course (hopefully first day)
Mini Bus Drivers!
Volunteer car drivers on both days to help with logistics and shuttling runners from point to point (your fuel will be refunded!)

**All clubs need to apply to be included in this race. We will know in April if we definitely have a place

*** Runners over 18 can do any leg, runners 16 and 17 years old can run in legs under 16KM
