Borders League report - Wrexham

Report by Arwel Lewis -

14 Eryri Harriers braved the weather to represent the club at todays Borders Road Running League Race at Wrexham Industrial Estate. Despite the cold weather, underfoot conditions were very good.

Nic Brook led Eryri home in 51st position overall followed by: 84th Michael Coyne. 99th Samuel Drinkwater. 109th Anna Drinkwater. 137th Anthony Davies. 159th Matt Bartlett. 164th John Jones. 167th Eryri debutant Andy Jones. 195th Neil Vickers-Harris. 210th Arwel Lewis. 255th Helen Blair. 298th Steven Brown. 317th Don Williams and 319th another Eryri debutant Paula Maguire who unfortunately, unknowingly had not registered for a Borders League Barcode and will not show up on the race results which will be published later on the Borders League website/Facebook Page.

The race was also the final race of the Eryri Harriers 2023 Road Running Championships with Nic Brook retaining his Men's title while Gemma Moore was already assured of the women's title.

Well done to Luke Northall and his enthusiastic team for ensuring the event took place considering the inclement weather. A very well organised event.
