CONGRATULATIONS ERYRI AT LLANDUDNO

RUN WALES THE VICTORIAN LLANDUDNO HALF MARATHON EXTRAVAGANZA & LLANDUDNO 10 MILER – SUNDAY 29th MARCH

Strong winds and heavy rain greeted the runners for todays Victorian Extravaganza races in Llandudno. 4 Eryri Harriers completed the 10-mile race which incorporated the North Wales Championships on an out and back course towards Rhos on Sea & back. Margot Saher finished 3rd F/50 and 2nd F/50 North Wales in a Gun Time of 73:52 & a Chip Time of 73:42.followed by: Gruff Anderson 2nd U/20 & 1st NW – 78:50 (78:41) Rhys Ap Elwyn 3rd M/55 & 1st NW – 79:02 (78:46) & John Jones 1st M65 Open & NW 84:21 (83:44) There were 256 finishers. Unfortunately, Gemma Moore did not finish due to a calf injury after 6;30km’s. wishing Gemma a speedy recovery. Gemma & Margot were both representing North Wales in the Inter Area Match.

In the Half Marathon race from Llandudno to Colwyn Bay & back, 9 Eryri Harriers were among the 749 finishers.
